What is Your Favorite Android Skin?

Have you ever noticed that Android on a Xiaomi phone doesn’t look like Android on a Google Pixel phone? And Android on Samsung phone doesn’t look like Android on Infinix phone. These devices use the same operating system, but look completely different simply because of the Android skin.

Many manufacturers that produce Android devices use their own custom “skins” to make the operating system look unique. These skins not only change the look and feel of the platform but often introduce loads of new features that aren’t in the stock or pure version of Android.

An Android skin is most easily described as a modified version of stock Android. Android skins have come a long way from the early 2000s and early 2010s when manufacturers made bloated, ugly overlays for their phones.
